Brawls & Boogaloos
CIRC has hosted some of the largest hobby robotics competitions in the Midwest featuring RC Combat and autonomous competitions. Currently the club’s interest is focused on autonomous events and we do not have plans to host RC Combats any time soon, though we may at some time in the future as our interests change.
Below you will find the most up-to-date rules for the various events that may be featured at our competitions. If you have any questions about the rules please contact our club officers or bring your question to one of our monthly meetings.

Bot Brawl 2016
The 2016 Bot Brawl took place on August 13th, 2016 at the Peoria Civic Center in conjunction with River City Labs‘ Midwest MakerFest and Ignite Peoria. Results, pictures, video, and sponsor info can be found on the event page. This year’s Bot Brawl was a roaring success with a total of 41 robots that competed in the Antweight RC Combat, Beetleweight RC Combat, Mini Sumo, Checkers On A Sumo Ring, Line Follow, and Line Maze competitions. Thanks to all of the robot operators who made this event fun!!! Can’t wait to see what creations you bring back next year!
